ERDF R&D Project: Drivers’ Response Analysis and Simulation System

Panna Plus is specialized in the development of high-end simulators. For the purposes of preventing wrong-way driving, Panna Plus used its expertise in software and hardware to develop a prototype simulator that identifies critical points of controlled-access highway systems and assists their arrangements by the level of threat.

The product features driving simulation at critical points in virtual environments, while collecting behavior, reactions, and biometric parameters from each test subject driving the simulator. The overall goal was to evaluate whether the real-life infrastructure and traffic signage is optimally regulated and whether it is possible to prevent drivers’ confusion and improve traffic regulation.

The investment was co-financed by the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology of the Republic of Slovenia and the European Regional Development Fund.
